AntiAdd is a rogue anti-spyware program, fake spyware remover, which uses misleading tactics to spread and sell its software. Anti Add is promoted by Trojans that camouflage themselves as video codecs or flash updates, required when people want to watch something online. When Trojans come, they download and install all the data needed for AntiAdd and configure it to start automatically. The same viruses create numerous files on the computer with random names which later are detected as infections. AntiAdd belongs to enormous WiniSoft family, so similarly to its initials it relies on misleading advertisements and tries to trick users into purchasing its so called “licensed” version. Once PC is infected, rogue imitates to scan the system and “informs” people about a great list of various infections found. AntiAdd loads tons of annoying pop-up ads, system tray notifications and expects to scare people into buying it.
