Recently a new Trojan virus has been detected that is able to infect computer systems with 5 different rogue antispyware programs. Actually, all five programs can be considered to be clone programs as they all act exactly the same way.

The alert that the Trojan uses to infiltrate is titled Microsoft Security Essentials Alert. The message states that a Trojan has been detected one your system and that you are strongly recommended to clean your system by downloading AntiSpySafeguard, Peak Protection 2010, Pest Detector 4.1, Major Defense Kit or Red Cross Antivirus. Usually one of these programs is mentioned.

Once the payment for the program is made you can say goodbye to your money and be sure that you will not get any program. Even if you don’t pay for the program, you may end up installing a trial of it to your system which will lead to receiving tons of security notifications and pop up ads warning about Trojan and other kinds of infections detected on your system. After unsuccessful attempt to remove supposedly infected files, the program offers purchasing a full version of AntiSpySafeguard, Peak Protection 2010, Pest Detector 4.1, Major Defense Kit or Red Cross Antivirus depending on which program was infiltrated at the very begining.

You must delete AntiSpySafeguard, Peak Protection 2010, Pest Detector 4.1, Major Defense Kit or Red Cross Antivirus as soon as you notice any signs of their existance on your computer. In case you have made a payment for a program make sure to contact your credit card company and dispute the charges as you will not receive anything useful but only lose your money.
